CJ Stroud pulls off Houdini escape of pass rush, finds Marvin Harrison Jr. for amazing TD in Peach Bowl

CJ Stroud is getting another chance on the big stage, and Ohio State’s star quarterback is off to a flying start in the Peach Bowl.
Facing Georgia’s elite defense, Stroud opened the game’s scoring with a deep ball to Marvin Harrison Jr. He added to that touchdown total in the second quarter and gave the Buckeyes their first double-digit lead of the game.
This time, Stroud dropped back on a 2nd-and-9 play from Georgia’s 16-yard line. Immediately under pressure, it appeared Stroud was going to be sacked well behind the line of scrimmage to force third down.
Then, Stroud pulled off an escape for the ages while keeping his eyes downfield. The QB eventually found Marvin Harrison Jr. on the scramble drill, pulling off the electric scoring play for the touchdown.

That play was set up by a key interception from Steele Chambers and the Ohio State defense. We’ll see if Ohio State can keep things rolling in the second quarter.
