Heisman-candidate Corey Clement was making his case in Saturday’s contest before an injury sidelined him in the second half.
Clement had gained 111 yards and scored two TDs on 21 carries before a leg injury ended his day.
#Badgers make it official: RB Corey Clement out for 2nd half with left leg injury. Had ankle retaped after that non-fumble late in 1st half.

There’s been no clarification if the injury was sustained on a specific play.
It’s a somewhat concerning sign for Wisconsin fans. Last year, Clement missed nine of the Badgers’ 13 games with injury and a disciplinary issue.
With the game well in-hand, this could be a cautionary decision for his star running back who has been hindered with nagging injuries.
There’s been no word on the severity or the nature of the injury.
