The Clemson Tigers have been one of the most dominant teams in college football for the past decade. On Saturday, they had a chance to rebound from their 49-28 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the College Football with a win over the #5 Georgia Bulldogs. Instead, the #3 Clemson Tigers crumbled on the offensive side of the ball with a 10-3 loss to the Bulldogs.

This loss to Georgia is the first time that the Tigers have lost consecutive games since November 2011. It isn’t easy to rebound after the loss to the Buckeyes in the playoffs, but Clemson came into the game against Georgia as a 2.5-point favorite.
Clemson was held to 180 total yards and two rushing yards against Georgia’s aggressive defense. In the loss to the Buckeyes in the semi-finals last season, the Tigers only accumulated 44 rushing yards.
While the Tigers have the elite talent to be aggressive on offense, they have shown to fall short in the running game in both games against top-five ranked teams. The Tigers will look to rebound as they cannot afford one more loss for the remainder of the season. Clemson has appeared in each of the last six College Football Playoffs.
The Tigers (0-1) will be back at home next Saturday as they take on the South Carolina State Bulldogs (0-1).
