Cameron Indoor Stadium is one of the best venues in college basketball. The combination of passionate fans, really good players and one of the greatest coaches of all-time makes it an incredibly difficult place to win in.
But there was a little friendly fire on Tuesday night during Duke’s ACC matchup with Pitt. Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski erupted on the student section for “taunting” Pitt head coach Jeff Capel. Since Coach K’s tirade, the video has gone viral across social media platforms.
The Cameron Crazies were chanting “Jeff Capel sit with us!” during the game, which is a common chant for the Duke student section. It seemed like a pretty vanilla chant, but Coach K apparently took offense to students chanting at Capel, who is a former Duke player and longtime assistant coach.
Krzyzewski yelled “shut up!” multiple times at the Cameron Crazies and was visibly upset across the floor. Then, at halftime, he marched over in front of the students and said “he’s one of us!”
Below is the video:
After Cameron Crazies started yelling "Jeff Capel, sit with us," Coach K could be seen yelling "Shut up" and "He's one of us."

The students appeared to listen to what Coach K was trying to tell them, proving just how powerful he is inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
It was certainly one of the weirder things we’ve seen this college basketball season.
