Colin Cowherd clearly had no idea Joe Burrow went to Ohio State during conversation with Urban Meyer

Colin Cowherd always tries to sound pretty confident in what he’s saying. Sometimes, though, his ignorance on a subject shines through.
That was the case late last week, when Cowherd was speaking with FOX analyst and former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer. Cowherd talked to Meyer about Joe Burrow and his breakout year with LSU. Meyer then went on to talk about Burrow’s football family and competitive spirit, as well as his strong ties to Ohio.
Cowherd then asked a somewhat baffling question.
“How did he get out of Ohio?” Cowherd asked Meyer. The former Ohio State head coach then set the radio host straight. Below is the video of Meyer’s appearance on The Herd, as posted by The Solid Verbal:

You’d think Cowherd would’ve known Burrow’s background before talking about him with Meyer. But, lesson learned.
Cowherd may have to do a little more research before talking to Meyer next time. There’s probably a collective eyeroll happening in Ohio right now.
