Colin Cowherd explains bizarre reasoning behind ranking Michigan No. 1

Having Michigan at No. 1 isn’t the craziest take you could have.
Sure Georgia and Ohio State fans will argue that, but it’s a reasonable take if you can explain it. Colin Cowherd is one of the few who thinks the Wolverines should Be No. 1 when the CFP poll comes out Tuesday afternoon.
His reasoning as to why is… unfounded at best. Cowherd says Michigan is No. 1 because Rutgers presents a tough road environment that nobody likes to play in November.
Quick reminder that Rutgers is 4-5 and has lost 5 of its last 6.
Michigan again kicked the Holy Hell out of ANOTHER tough as nails opponent. Let’s be honest, nobody likes going to Rutgers in November. Crowd noise made my living room shake. But location doesn’t matter w these boys. Wolverines my new number one. #Harbaugh

This is not a knock on Michigan. The Wolverines responded well to adversity from the Scarlet Knights early on and have shown poise against Penn State in their top win of the year.
Maybe that’s a better argument for No. 1.
