College basketball game interrupted by dog on court

A college basketball game was interrupted by an unlikely guest.
During the George Washington vs. American game, a dog ran onto the court. No. 4 for George Washington, Ricky Lingo, clearly is not a fan of dogs.
Lingo is seen recoiling once the dog approaches him. No. 11, James Bishop IV also seemed terrified of the dog. To be fair though, you don’t exactly expect to see a dog on a basketball court.

There’s a 1st time for everything. It does beg the question, how did the dog get inside the arena anyway?
The American Eagles were able to eke out a win against the George Washington Colonials by a score of 69-64. The Eagles improved to 7-2 on the season and extended their win streak to 7.
