With multiple undefeated Power 5 teams, there’s plenty of debate about which team deserves to be ranked No. 1. The Football Writers Association of America and the National Football Foundation weighed in with their weekly Super 16 poll.
Georgia remains No. 1 in the Super 16. Ohio State is the highest-ranked B1G team at No. 2. Tennessee is sandwiched in between OSU and No. 4 Michigan.
Penn State checks in at No. 12, moving up from a previous ranking of No. 16, to make 3 B1G teams in the latest poll. Bret Bielema’s Illinois squad is one of the top teams receiving votes just outside the 16 spot.
