College football rankings: Football Power Index updated following Week 6 slate

We are nearing the midpoint of the college football season and there’s still plenty to learn about the college football landscape.

But some things are already set it stone. Despite its rough performance Saturday, Alabama remains the Football Power Index’s top team. In total, 6 B1G teams crack the top 25: Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota, Maryland and Purdue.
