The North Carolina game against Florida A&M set for Week 0 is reportedly in jeopardy of being played.
According to Alison Posey with ABC27 in Tallahassee, Florida, the Rattlers may not be able to travel to face the Tar Heels in Week 0.
Posey cited a conversation with head coach Willie Simmons who said Florida A&M 20 players are currently ineligible for the game due to academics or transfer eligibility.
As things currently stand, the program has just 7 offensive linemen eligible to make the trip.
Just spoke with Florida A&M head football coach Willie Simmons. There are twenty players that are ineligible, be it to academics or transfer eligibility.
He said only seven offensive lineman that can travel – that’s not enough to safely play a football game. https://t.co/ix3AnfgvLH

Despite those concerns, Posey just recently reported that Florida A&M is still making the trek to Chapel Hill and will play North Carolina on Saturday as scheduled.
