College GameDay announces Week 4 destination

ESPN has announced their week four College Gameday matchup for next Saturday. The game of the week for week four will be the No. 12 Notre Dame vs. No. 18 Wisconsin matchup in Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.
This will be the 33rd-time that College Gameday will feature Notre Dame as well as the 20th time that Wisconsin will be featured. This game on Saturday will be the third consecutive time that College Gameday will feature a team in the B1G Conference.

This will mark the third straight time College GameDay has featured a B1G team. Last week, the pregame show made the trip to Ames for the Iowa-Iowa State showdown. This week, it was in State College for Auburn-Penn State.
The Badgers and the Fighting Irish will for the first time since 1964 when Notre Dame defeated Wisconsin 31-7 in Madison. Notre Dame leads the series over Wisconsin 8-6-2. Their only previous matchup in Chicago was in 1929 when Notre Dame won 19-0.
