College GameDay is headed to Death Valley.

Saturday morning, ESPN’s popular pregame show revealed that it will be headed to Baton Rouge for the Week 10 matchup between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 LSU. The lead in the SEC West and College Football Playoff implications are all on the line.

The announcement came extremely early this week, as there was really no other contender to host this week’s show.

Alabama enters Saturday’s game 8-0 (5-0) while LSU is 7-1 (4-1). The Tigers have yet to lose a game in Death Valley this season.

Though the two teams have an intense rivalry, the Crimson Tide have dominated recently, winning the last seven matchups, dating back to the 2012 national championship game. Alabama is also winners of 9 of the last 11 games.

Saturday will be the game of the year in college football. College GameDay will set the stage for one incredible matchup.
