Picked as the fourth-best team in the West this preseason and expected to scratch and claw for a bowl bid, the Bearcats have defied all odds this season, entering Week 12 with a 9-1 record after surprisingly beginning the season with six consecutive wins. The Knights, meanwhile, quietly lead the nation with a 22-game winning streak dating back to the 2016 season and have outscored opponents by an average of 23 points.
A win for Cincinnati be its first against a ranked team since 2011, and a win for the Knights would all but clinch a spot in the AAC championship game.
