This will be the first time College GameDay will head to Lawrence for Kansas to host. There are now only seven Power 5 schools to have not hosted College GameDay, three of which are B1G schools in Illinois, Maryland, and Rutgers.
With ESPN's @CollegeGameDay headed to Kansas next week, that will leave just seven Power 5 schools that have yet to host the show: Cal, Duke, Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse and Virginia.

Kansas has started the 2022 season with a 5-0 record, with its first three games scoring at least 48 points. In Week 5, Kansas defeated Iowa State 14-11 at home.
TCU has started the 2022 season with a 4-0 record, coming off a 55-24 dominating home win over No. 18 Oklahoma.
This upcoming Saturday will be the second time that College GameDay will feature Kansas. The last time they were featured was in 2007 when No. 2 Kansas traveled to face No. 3 Missouri in the Border War rivalry. Missouri won that game 36-28.
