No. 6 Michigan has had an incredible season so far as they are 9-1 and 6-1 in B1G play, with its only blemish coming against bitter rival  No. 7 Michigan State.

ESPN’s premier college pregame show talked about Michigan and what they like about the Wolverines and maybe a potential trap game when they go to College Park to take on Maryland.

Here is what the GameDay crew had to say about the Wolverines.

“This is the ultimate sandwich game, said Kirk Herbstreit. “Last week, played Penn State on the road in an emotional game. They got Ohio State next week. Right now, they’ve got Maryland, a team that’s not having a great year. This is about leadership. It’s not about the coaches, it’s about the older players on that roster getting the team showed up ready to play. They’ve done that all year, I don’t expect that to change.”

Desmond Howard talked about how Michigan has an identity this season.

“I like that Michigan has an identity,” said Howard. “They don’t break from character. They know who they are, they don’t break character. I think they’re gonna play solid today.”

David Pollack talked about how well the Wolverines play defense.

“I think they’ll play great defense,” said Pollack. “They’ve done it all season long, so I think it’ll continue today.”

Michigan is on the road to face Maryland at 3:30 ET on BTN, before next week’s colossal clash with No. 4 Ohio State.
