ESPN’s College GameDay is back, and so is the weekly edition of fans complaining about the celebrity guest picker. Rapper Jack Harlow has been announced as the gust picker when GameDay goes for the coverage of the matchup between Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Fans were blasting ESPN, College GameDay, and Jack Harlow for the decision as they questioned the relevance and the connection between Harlow and either of the teams. Several fans questioned who Harlow even was.

Just another reason to watch Fox pregame show

No disrespect to Jack, but I just don’t see why he’s doing gameday in Columbus. He doesn’t have any known ties to OSU, and there is a long list of former players and famous Buckeye fans who could guest pick instead.

Do you think any of the College GameDay guys actually know who Jack Harlow is

Who in the heck is Jack Harlow and why is he invading College GameDay?
I'll write in my notebook with his "live performance". I'm not a rap person.

Some fans gave a positive response to Harlow as the guest picker. This decision brought some diversity to the guest pickers as the only recording artist last year on College GameDay was country singer Kane Brown.
Harlow is the first rapper to appear as the celebrity guest picker since Jeezy on September 21, 2019.
LFG! The only good thing that’s going to be in Columbus is @jackharlow 🙏🏼 Go Blue 〽️

Love that College Gameday is making sure to really go all out for Ohio State/Notre Dame next week by announcing that Jack Harlow, who is absolutely relevant to Ohio State and Notre Dame (???), will be a celebrity guest.
