The College GameDay crew made their predictions for the B1G championship for the 2022 season. There was some chalk, some wild predictions and some homer picks galore.
Here’s how the GameDay crew picked the B1G:
- Lee Corso: Ohio State
- David Pollack: Ohio State over Wisconsin
- Kirk Herbstreit: Ohio State over Nebraska
- Desmond Howard: Michigan over Wisconsin
Howard had an interesting College Football Playoff bracket, picking Texas A&M to win the whole thing over Pitt, Michigan and Baylor.
Pollack and Howard both picked the Badgers to run away with the B1G West, while Herbstreit made the controversial decision to pick Nebraska as the B1G West’s champion, eventually falling to Ohio State. It’s worth noting the Cornhuskers won just one B1G game last season and finished the year 3-9.
College football season kicks off in the B1G at 12:30 pm with Nebraska vs. Northwestern in Ireland. Illinois squares off against Wyoming at 4 pm on FOX.
