The College GameDay Podcast previews and makes predictions for the biggest games in college football ahead of each weekend.

On Thursday, Rece Davis, Pete Thamel, and Stanford Steve discussed an upcoming B1G matchup between Washington and No. 13 Indiana. The Hoosiers are coming off a huge win over Nebraska in Week 8, while the Huskies had a bye week.

Unfortunately for Washington fans, the entire GameDay crew predicts an Indiana win. Thamel pointed out the age and experience of the Hoosiers, as well as the team’s dynamic offense. The analyst did, however, praise the job new Washington head coach Jedd Fisch has done following an offseason of “drastic roster turnover.”

Stanford Steve praised Indiana’s offense as well, but the longtime ESPN analyst predicts a tight game.

“I’m going to say Indiana wins inside of a touchdown,” said Steve. “Indiana wins, I’ll take Washington plus the 6.5. Great job by Jedd Fisch this year.”

Finally, Davis mentioned that sometimes teams come back down to earth after huge performances. However, the GameDay host doesn’t see that being an issue for this Indiana team.

“I think Indiana will overcome that and win by enough and they cover,” said Davis.

As Davis mentioned, the Hoosiers are seeking to tie their best start to a season in over 50 years with a win on Saturday. The team is sitting at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in B1G play.

The Huskies, meanwhile, are 4-3 overall and 2-2 in B1G play after reaching the College Football Playoff last season. These new B1G rivals will kick off from Memorial Stadium on Saturday at Noon ET/9 am PT.
