College hoops expert breaks down B1G title game between Illinois, Ohio State

The B1G Tournament finale is today.

On Sunday, Illinois and Ohio State will meet in the title game with a chance to win the B1G Tournament championship and carry momentum into next week’s NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes earned a spot in the final game by beating Minnesota, Purdue and Michigan, while Illinois defeating Rutgers and Iowa to play on Sunday.

Sunday’s game will also serve as a rubber match between the two squads. Ohio State and Illinois split the regular season series, with the Buckeyes winning the first game 87-81 and the Fighting Illini taking the second contest 73-68.

Before the two teams tip at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS, college basketball expert and Big Ten Network contributor Andy Katz provided a preview of the B1G Tournament championship. Here’s what Katz had to say about Sunday’s showdown from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis:
