Jim Harbaugh’s signing day will inevitably frustrate a few folks from the SEC.

He started the day off by landing a commitment from five-star defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon, who picked Michigan instead of Alabama and Georgia.

To land another blue-chip recruit from the South, Michigan had to fend off two more SEC powers in Georgia and LSU.

But the Wolverines did just that. They landed a commitment from four-star Alabama receiver Nico Collins:

Collins is rated as the No. 23 receiver and No. 136 player overall in the 2017 class. He took a couple of late official visits to Georgia and LSU, but Michigan won out.

The Wolverines added yet another dynamic receiver to their loaded 2017 class. They already had five-star wideout Donovan Peoples-Jones, as well as four-star wideouts Tarik Black and Oliver Martin.

Michigan now has 30 commitments for its 2017 class, which ranks No. 4 overall.
