One piece of Nebraska’s 2023 recruiting class has reopened his recruitment just a few days ahead of the Early Signing Period opening up.
The player is Hayden Moore, a 3-star linebacker out of Aurora, Colorado with Power 5 offers from around the country. He was to the Huskers since June but decided to reopen his recruitment and decommit from Nebraska on Sunday.

“After speaking with my family and coaches over the past few weeks, and giving much thought and consideration, I have decided to de-commit from the University of Nebraska,” Moore wrote in his announcement. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. Finally, I would like to thank the Nebraska fans for the continued support over the past 6 months.”
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Moore is a 3-star recruit and the No. 89 LB nationally for the cycle.
Moore currently holds offers from Iowa State, Michigan, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas and others and most recently came off an official visit to Michigan. We’ll see where he winds up in the future.
