Hooker has dealt with several injuries throughout his first season in the NFL. He’s had surgeries for his shoulder and a sports hernia since April and missed some time in training camp to try to get to full strength.
He was selected in the first-round of the NFL Draft and was taken as the No. 15 overall pick by the Colts. He had been playing exceptionally well in Indianapolis, accounting for 19 tackles and three interceptions in the first six games of his career.
