The Columbus Crew are one of the top teams in Major League Soccer, and they are in the middle of their own MLS Playoffs run. However, the team is also joining in on the traditional rivalry centered around The Game.
That tradition includes Ohio State slashing through the “M” on signage throughout campus and the football building with a red X. The Crew has followed suit, the team revealed in a Monday morning social media post.
The Crew plays at Lower.com Field, but the team revealed the “M” on top of the stadium has been blocked out with a big red X. “A (X)assive Week For Colu(X)bus” reads the social media post.

This time around, Ohio State will leave Columbus for Ann Arbor and the traditional rivalry showdown and a lot will be on the line in the Big House. The winner will secure a trip to the B1G Championship Game with an inside track to the College Football Playoff.
