Ohio State’s loss to Michigan has been tough for Buckeye fans everywhere to stomach. That includes one Columbus area radio show that went through a wide spectrum of emotions during Monday’s show.

That show — titled Common Man & T-Bone — featured one of the hosts attempting to air the entire show without going to the regularly scheduled commercial breaks. It sent the co-host into a spin, and management was far from happy.

At one point, a station manager tried to step in and ease the situation. Here are some snippets from that wild broadcast in a nearly 7-minute-long clip of the show.

“I don’t want to take a break. As a matter of fact, I’m not going to take a break. How much are the ads in this commercial break if we tally them all up? I’ll buy them.”

“You’re going to buy all the ads?”

“Yeah, I don’t want to play any more commercials today… I’m sorry to put you in this position, I’m not going to break… I’m doing 3 hours of sitting here, drinking my bourbon, talking to my buddy about how bad I feel.”

“Are we buying every commercial break for the rest of the show?”

“They may take me off the air. Oh, the boss man just walked in.”

“I appreciate what you’re trying to do for the fans, I do… But we do have a business to run here. I hate to be that guy, I am now that guy.”
