Purdue graduate and super-fan Tyler Trent is trying to pull off one last upset. He’s looking for help to do it.
Trent, who has inspired millions as he battles bone cancer and fights with a positive attitude and strong will, recently released a biography, detailing his life. Trent’s goal in publishing the story is to raise $1 million in cancer research.
Trent made the trip to Nashville to watch Purdue play in the Music City Bowl against Auburn. Just a few hours before kickoff, he tweeted out a message to promote the cause.
“Would u consider helping me predict one last upset?” Trent wrote on Twitter. “This time, it’s not about football, it’s about life. Please consider helping me raise $1,000,000 for cancer research.”

Trent also included a link to preorder his book, titled “The Upset.”
Trent has been featured on ESPN for his courageous fight with cancer. His story on ESPN’s College GameDay has inspired millions across the country.
Trent was also the winner of the Disney Spirit Award and has been Purdue’s honorary captain through the season. He made appearances at several Purdue games throughout the year.
