Controversy in The Game? Roman Wilson TD upheld after questionable ruling
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Michigan has a second touchdown in The Game, but how the Wolverines got there was not without some drama. The play was ruled a touchdown to Roman Wilson, but that play will be a topic of conversation the rest of the way.
The play started with JJ McCarthy threading a throw between two defenders to Wilson. The receiver was credited with a catch and getting to the goal line, but he did not come up from the ground with the ball.
In fact, Ohio State’s Denzel Burke emerged from the pile with the ball in the end zone. It appeared Wilson never had control of the pass, but the play was originally ruled a touchdown on the field and ruled as “call stands” upon review.

Klatt is kind of losing it here, but I definitely think it’s a touchdown.
