All week, Corey Clement had to hear about how Saquon Barkley was the B1G’s best running back without any contest.
Wisconsin’s senior ball-carrier had an answer to that early in the B1G Championship Game.
On the Badgers’ second possession, Clement broke to the outside, got a couple of blocks downfield and left the Penn State defense in the dust on a 67-yard jaunt that gave Wisconsin a 14-0 lead with just over three minutes left in the first quarter.

Clement’s burst was his second-longest run of the season and was his longest touchdown run of the season. He did have one carry for 68 yards against Ohio State, but he didn’t cross the goal line in that contest.
It was the 14th TD for Clement on the season.
