Corey Smith, 4-star RB and Penn State target, sets commitment date

Corey Smith is getting close to announcing his college decision.
The 4-star running back said Wednesday morning that he intends to announce his commitment later this month. He’s set to commit on Friday, April 28.

Smith is a major target for Penn State in the class of 2024. He’s currently ranked as the No. 206 overall player and the No. 14 running back in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He attends Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds.
Smith also has offers from programs like Tennessee, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Nebraska, amongst other top programs. The Nittany Lions do not currently have a running back commit in the 2024 cycle.
Penn State’s 2024 recruiting class is off to a very strong start. The Nittany Lions already have 10 commitments and own the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
