Betting against Mark Dantonio is usually a bad idea. Many have done it before, and many have paid the price.
Former Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld made that bold move. He bet his teammate, current Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, that IU would beat Michigan State on Saturday.
Cousins, of course, came up on the short end of that wager.
As a result, Indiana gained another fan on Wednesday:

Cousins will also have to make a donation to Sudfeld’s family charity.
On the bright side, Cousins is making $20 million under the franchise tag in 2016. Unfortunately, his Spartans cost him something that money can’t buy.
Bragging rights.
