Coveted B1G target, elite S out of Texas for 2022 sets commitment date

One of the best defensive back prospects for the class of 2022 has set a commitment date, looking toward the end of July to make a decision.
The player is Cristian Driver, a four-star safety prospect out of Argyle, Texas. The son of former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, Cristian is rated among the best prospects for the cycle.
According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, the younger Driver is the No. 12 safety, No. 206 prospect nationally, and No. 35 player out of Texas for the cycle. He has a multitude of Power 5 offers, and he announced Sunday that his college decision will be made on his birthday.

During November, Driver revealed a top-12 list on Twitter. Included in that update were Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Penn State.
Driver is definitely one prospect to keep an eye on throughout the month. His decision would be a big boost to any program for 2022.
