After Michigan lost at Iowa, Ohio State fans had a panic.

“What happens if we don’t even make the B1G Championship?”

The truth is, we don’t know. We do know that if Penn State wins out and OSU wins out, the Lions will represent the B1G East in Indianapolis. We also know that every team that’s made the playoff field in its two-year history has been a conference champ.

But Colin Cowherd explained why it would be foolish to hold OSU out based on that reasoning:

That’s actually a good point.

Whether or not it comes down to that remains to be seen. Ohio State would still have to win at Michigan State and take care of No. 4 Michigan for that scenario to matter.

But are the No. 2 Buckeyes in danger of having a repeat of 2015?
