Ohio State defensive back Damon Arnette nearly left school to head to the NFL following last season, but after talking with Hall of Fame wide receiver and Fox Sports analyst Cris Carter, Arnette was convinced to stay in school.
On Saturday against Indiana, Arnette returned an interception for a touchdown, and Carter noticed, tweeting “he’ll be ready soon.”

Arnette received a favorable draft grade during the process last winter, but Carter told him to he wasn’t ready to go pro because he wasn’t an All-American according to Eleven Warriors.
Through three weeks, Arnette is looking to be at least a member of the All-Big Ten team. He has one interception with eight total tackles and two pass breakups in three games.
