Indiana was planning on adding another member of the McCullough family in the 2023 recruiting class. Unfortunately, 4-star safety Daeh McCullough announced he was decommitting from the Hoosiers in May.
On Saturday, he revealed he will be heading to the AAC to begin his college career with a commitment to Luke Fickell and Cincinnati.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 lbs., the 247 Sports Composite Rankings rate McCullough as the No. 3 prospect out of Indiana and the No. 19 safety nationally for the class of 2023. He is also the 219th player in the country, regardless of position.
The Bearcats continue to be a program on the rise under Fickell with Cincinnati making a big splash in the 2022 NFL Draft. Sauce Gardner was selected No. 4 overall by the New York Jets in this year’s draft. Still, losing a player of McCullough’s pedigree is a blow to the Hoosiers.
Daeh is the son of Deland McCullough, Indiana’s former RB coach who left to fill the same post at Notre Dame this offseason. DB Deland McCullough Jr. and Dasan McCullough remain at Indiana.
