Dale Bonner, Baylor guard transfer, announces B1G commitment

Dale Bonner, a guard transfer from Baylor, has announced a commitment to play in the B1G.
Bonner is a graduate transfer, and committed to Ohio State after he played in 60 games for Baylor over the last 2 seasons with 6 starts after transferring from Division II Fairmont State in West Virginia. During the 2022-23 season, he averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 assists while leading the Bears with 1.4 steals per game.
Known for his defense, Bonner had 6 career double-figure scoring games at Baylor, and is one of 5 players in Baylor history with multiple 6-plus steal games.
Bonner is listed at 6-2 and 170 pounds and is a native of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Bonner joins Minnesota forward Jamison Battle as new additions for the Buckeyes. Bonner will add depth in the backcourt as he has experience at point guard and shooting guard.
He hit 37% of his 3-pointers this past season, as Baylor went 23-11 and was a 3-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
