Dallas Wilson signed with Oregon earlier this month, but will reportedly enroll at Florida.
The 5-star wide receiver verbally pledged to Oregon on Jan. 17, 2023. Over the nearly 2 years from the time of his commitment to his signing, Florida and other schools tried to flip Wilson. On Dec. 4, however, Wilson followed through on his Oregon pledge and signed with the Ducks.
Now, it’s being reported by multiple outlets that Wilson is asking for a release from the papers he signed with Oregon. Wilson is expected to enroll at Florida.

Out of Tampa Bay Tech, Wilson is listed as measuring 6-3, 195 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Wilson is rated 5-stars, the No. 3 player in the state of Florida, No. 4 wide receiver and No. 20 recruit overall. In addition to Florida and Oregon, other programs to show interest included Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.
Wilson would become the top player in Florida’s 2025 recruiting class. While losing Wilson would sting, the Ducks still have a loaded class of signees. Oregon’s class of 21 signees and 5 transfers is currently ranked No. 2 nationally on the Composite.
Even with Wilson’s planned exit, Oregon still has multiple 5-star signees. Wide receiver Dakorien Moore is the Composite’s No. 4 overall prospect nationally while cornerback Na’eem Offord checks in at No. 10.
