Dan Mullen wanted everyone to have the opportunity to experience Florida’s trip to the Peach Bowl this winter. Little did anyone know that included pets.

That’s right, Mullen brought his dog, Heisman, to help celebrate the Gators’ Peach Bowl berth. When the Florida head coach addressed the media on Monday, his trusty canine companion was right by his side.

“Heisman got to make the trip,” Mullen said.

Atlanta has plenty to offer in terms of entertainment. There’s the College Football Hall of Fame, Ripley’s Aquarium, CNN and several other places to tour. But will Heisman get to experience all of that?

Maybe he’ll get a chance to take in a few more sites than your average pooch, being that he’s Mullen’s dog and all.

Florida will take on Michigan in the Peach Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 29. It’ll mark the third time the two teams have met in four years.

We’ll keep an eye out for Heisman to see if he’s allowed on the sideline during the game.
