Daniel Jackson and Minnesota maintain an uphill battle against Michigan. However, Jackson and the Gophers cut into a lead by the Wolverines heading into the halftime break.
Minnesota used 11 plays and nearly 6 minutes of the game clock as the Gophers slowly worked their way down the field. It nearly looked like the Gophers were going to run out of time before the break, but Minnesota dialed up a deep ball with 20 seconds left.
The play featured a beautiful double move by Jackson and Athan Kaliakmanis was able to find him open down the sideline. The score went for 35 yards and left just 6 seconds left on the clock, eliminating a chance for Michigan to respond before the break.

At the break, Michigan is still up 24-10 while Kaliakmanis has hit on just 5-of-11 passes. The one bright spot for Minnesota has been time of possession, but the Gophers will need to find some big plays to try and even things up in the second half.
