Former Maryland Terrapins guard Darryl Morsell has made a decision, announcing on Twitter that he is committing to Marquette for the 2021-22 season.
Morsell played four seasons at Maryland and was pursuing the NBA Draft this offseason. However, with the extra year of eligibility provided by the NCAA, Morsell also entered the transfer portal to examine all of his options.
In the end, Morsell settled on a move to the Golden Eagles for his final year:

Head coach Mark Turgeon also reacted to the news, giving his blessing for Morsell’s decision:
“Darryl gave the University of Maryland everything he had for four years and we are eternally grateful for his commitment to our program,” said Turgeon via release. “Due to Covid, he was presented with the unique opportunity to use an extra year of eligibility and he ultimately decided to make a change. He has more than earned that right.”
