Mark your calendars, the dates for the 2021 NFL Draft have been set.

The NFL revealed this week that the 2021 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 29-May 1, with the event taking place in Cleveland, Ohio. It will be hosted in the city’s downtown area, according to a release from the Cleveland Browns. It will mark the 86th edition of the draft.

Cleveland was awarded the opportunity to host the 2021 NFL Draft in May 2019. This year, the event was scheduled for Las Vegas but the draft was forced to be held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It was the first virtual draft in the history of the league.

“We’re excited for Cleveland to ‘Rock The Clock’ as the host of next year’s NFL Draft and NFL Draft Experience – assuming large gatherings can take place without compromising the well-being of participants,” said David Gilbert, President and CEO of Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Destination Cleveland. “We, along with our partners at the NFL, the Cleveland Browns and the City of Cleveland, are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all spectators and participants. We’re working tirelessly to make this the best Draft event yet – for the NFL and its fans as well as for the Cleveland community.”

Ohio was home to three of the five largest viewing markets during the 2020 NFL Draft, with Columbus at No. 1, Cleveland No. 2 and Cincinnati at No. 5.
