The No. 2 Iowa Hawkeyes (6-0) are in serious trouble after Purdue scored on a 21-yard touchdown pass from Aidan O’Connell to wide receiver David Bell. Purdue currently leads 24-7 with over seven minutes left in the game.

Iowa has been down for the entire game and hasn’t been able to power through the aggressive and efficiency of Purdue. The offense for Purdue has been connecting well in all four quarters of a tenacious fourth-ranked scoring defense of Iowa.
As of publication, Purdue’s defense has held Iowa to only 200 total yards and 12 first downs. Purdue quarterback Aidan O’Connell has thrown for 361 yards and two touchdowns on 28 completions (out of 38 passing attempts). Wide receiver David Bell has caught 11 receptions for 240 yards and one touchdown.
