Rutgers is taking Indiana to the woodshed right now, literally. They are up 17-0 on the road against the Hoosiers.
DB Lawrence Stevens laid the wood on a kickoff return, lighting up Indiana’s return man. It was one of the biggest hits you’ll see this season.
Ouch 😅
That was a BIG hit 😳 pic.twitter.com/2zvwpy2NN8

Stevens, this season for the Scarlet Knights, has played sparingly for them recording just 3 tackles on defense. He is a great special teams player.
Rutgers is 4-5 on the season and 1-5 in B1G play. The Scarlet Knights have a chance at bowl eligibility for the first time since the Scarlet Knights went to a bowl game in their inaugural season in the B1G.
The season has not gone the way anyone in Bloomington has wanted it to go. The Hoosiers are 2-7 and 0-6 in the B1G.
The Hoosiers have been riddled by the injury bug all season and are limping towards the end of the road.
