Sunday’s meeting between Wisconsin and Michigan featured a lot of fireworks. The two sides also played a basketball game!
During the handshake line at the end of the game, tensions were high. A scuffle even broke out with Michigan coach Juwan Howard taking a swing at a Wisconsin coach.
Afterward, Howard described that he felt Wisconsin coach Greg Gard touching him in the handshake line was “uncalled for.” That escalated the entire incident, per Howard.
Following the aftermath, Desmond Howard addressed the incident. The former Michigan star and co-host for ESPN’s College GameDay defended Howard.
“I saw Juwan walking away and Wisconsin coach put his hands on him to stop,” wrote Howard on Twitter. “First mistake. Then an (assistant) coach inserted himself and said something that only escalated things. Let bosses be bosses and play your position. Second mistake.”

Regardless of how Dez feels, the B1G is sure to hand out discipline somewhere along the line after reviewing the incident.
