The B1G has been excellent this season and has proven that they can hang with the SEC.

One ESPN analyst isn’t buying the B1G hype. SEC cheerleader Paul Finebaum does not buy the B1G so far this season.

“If you look at the B1G this morning, you say, ‘Wow, what an incredible league, said Finebaum on the McElroy and Cubelic In The Morning radio show. “4 teams in the Top 10. That’s all going to take care of itself. I’m not buying in.”

Those 4 teams in the Top 10 in the AP Top-25 poll are as follows:

  • No. 3 Iowa
  • No. 4 Penn State
  • No. 7 Ohio State
  • No. 9 Michigan

Michigan State is also sitting right outside the top 10 at No. 11. It seems the rest of the country is buying into the B1G.

Finebaum believes that Iowa is the only legit contender in the B1G and said Ohio State may not be done yet.

You can hear all of what Finebaum had to say here:

Maybe, Finebaum forgot about a team in Pennsylvania who is playing lights out right now and, oh, by the way, beat one of the precious SEC West teams in Auburn a few weeks ago.
