Details emerge in death of former Ohio State fullback Tyrone Harrison

A former Ohio State fullback and current high school vice principal was tragically killed on Saturday night, as he was struck by a car involved in a drag race according to a report.
Tyrone Harrison, 49, was killed last weekend while walking along the road in Piscataway, New Jersey. He was struck by a car that was participating in a drag race and was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries sustained. The report comes from MyCentralJersey.com.
The driver of the car that struck Harrison fled the scene. Authorities are still searching for the suspect and anyone involved in the drag race.
Harrison was a vice principal at New Brunswick High School. He was a member of Ohio State’s football team from 1989-1990.
“He always showed tremendous pride in Ohio State,” said New Brunswick High School Athletic Director Craig Lowery. “He always would talk about playing in the horseshoe (the school’s stadium), and how he wanted to have a connection and pipeline to Ohio State.”
