Devin Brown is working hard to potentially take over as the next starting quarterback for No. 2 Ohio State. Brown and fellow true freshman tight Bennett Christian have been spotted getting extra reps on the field after Wednesday’s practice.

Ohio State has a roster full of talented and devoted players, but it takes special and experienced players to take over.

Brown is a quarterback who took take over for C.J. Stroud if he departs early for the 2023 NFL Draft. He is a 4-star prospect from Utah as he was the 43rd-rated quarterback prospect and the top prospect from the state of Utah, according to 247Sports Composite.

Christian is a 4-star prospect from the same 2022 recruiting class. Christian was the 20th-rated tight end and the 40th-rated prospect from Georgia, according to 247Sports Composite.

Ohio State finished with the 4th overall class in the 2022 recruiting class.
