Devin Mockobee is having a career game against Nebraska in Week 7.
Mockobee, the former walk-on, is the first Purdue RB since D.J. Knox in 2018 to collect 100+ rushing yards in a half. At the beginning of the 3rd quarter, Mockobee has 127 yards and 1 TD.
Devin Mockobee is the first Purdue rusher to surpass 100 yards in a half since D.J. Knox had 101 yards in the second half of a 20-19 loss to Eastern Michigan on Sept. 8, 2018–that is a span of 48 games.

With over a quarter of the game left, Mockobee has already surpassed his previous career-high of 112 rushing yards. Mockobee has also contributed in the passing game, catching 2 passes for 28 yards.
Mockobee has been in a timeshare with fellow RB Dylan Downing, but it seems like Mockobee might be staking his claim for the full-time job.
Halfway through the 3rd, Purdue is up 27-20 on the Cornhuskers.
