Devon Matthews, standout Indiana DB, announces official plans for future

Indiana Hoosiers standout defensive back Devon “Monster” Matthews announced Monday that he will withdraw from school and enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
Matthews spent 5 years at Indiana and is one of the better defensive backs in the conference. He decided to use his extra year last season to play for the Hoosiers in 2022. In other words, this was an expected announcement.
He wrote a message to Hoosier Nation along with his announcement.

Matthews totaled 210 tackles, 4 interceptions, 15 pass deflections and 9 tackles for loss in his time in Bloomington. He is likely a late round NFL prospect.
