Months after being dismissed from Michigan State’s football program, Donnie Corley is enrolled in college again, according to reports.
The Detroit Free Press reported that Corley will be attending Wayne County Community College in the fall. The school does not have a football program.
Corley was one of three Michigan State football players dismissed after being charged in an alleged sexual assault that occurred at an on-campus apartment. He is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
As a freshman, Corley had an integral role in the Spartans’ offense. He was the team’s second-leading receiver, catching 33 passes for 453 yards and three touchdowns. He was named to the B1G All-Freshman Team.
Corley will have his preliminary examination court date on Sept. 21.
