DJ Durkin on Urban Meyer: He’s one of the best to ever coach the game

Maryland head coach D.J. Durkin had some great things to say about his former boss on Tuesday.
Durkin was asked about this week’s game against Ohio State as well as Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer, and the Terrapins’ leader had some pretty high praise, saying Meyer was “one of the best to ever coach the game,” during the B1G teleconference.

Durkin was an assistant under Meyer at Bowling Green and at Florida and has often said great things about the Buckeyes head coach.
Maryland travels to Columbus on Saturday to take on Ohio State. The Terps were dominated last year 62-3, but Durkin says his team is “absolutely” more confident this year.
The Terrapins are coming off a win on the road against Minnesota while Ohio State knocked off Rutgers in Piscataway.
