Doak Walker Award’s semifinalists were released on Tuesday with three B1G running backs in the running. You can view the list here of candidates here.
Chase Brown, Mohamed Ibrahim, and Blake Corum were all featured from the B1G.
The eventual winner of the award will be announced in Dallas, Texas at the “Home Depot College Football Awards” show on ESPN.
Former Michigan State RB Kenneth Walker III took home the award last season after the great year he had. Walker finished the final year in East Lansing with 1,636 yards rushing and 19 total touchdowns.
Walker now plays for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
Brown, Corum, and Ibrahim have all made some solid cases for why they should be considered for the award, leading their team’s backfields.
